Work in on-premises networks
Work in on‑premises networks is an add‑on where the connection is extended from the building connection point to the end‑user location.
A complete installation all the way to the end‑user location
Work in on‑premises networks is an add‑on used when delivery needs to continue beyond the handover point and into the building’s internal network. The add‑on covers all installation work required to connect the link all the way to the end‑user location. If an existing on‑premises network is available, it is used; otherwise, the network is supplemented or built as needed. All work is carried out professionally and in accordance with applicable industry standards for safety and quality, ensuring a reliable and long‑term sustainable solution.
How to order
You order Work in on‑premises networks in the Customer Portal or NetBusiness Connect when placing your order for a new connection. We take end‑to‑end responsibility for the delivery and handle planning, a pre‑delivery site visit, and coordination of the connection, the on‑premises network, and customer equipment. Everything is delivered within the same delivery timeframe. Once the installation is complete, we perform an OTDR measurement all the way to the handover point at your customer’s premises to ensure fiber quality and full functionality.
When you order Work in on‑premises networks, many work activities required to build and connect the on‑premises network are included. For example, if up to 200 meters of ducting needs to be constructed and fiber cable installed along that route, this is included. Any required drilling and fire sealing are also included. For more extensive work, such as when a lift must be rented or complex drilling or fire sealing is required, the work is carried out on a quotation basis. In all cases, the work is performed. Regardless of scope, we ensure the work is completed correctly and safely. Full details of included work activities are specified in the agreement.
