What is Telia Wholesale Capacity
Telia Wholesale Capacity is a dedicated capacity product that provides fixed, symmetric bandwidth between two nodes in Telia’s network. The product is based on Telia’s fiber infrastructure and is delivered without shared capacity, ensuring stable characteristics even in business‑critical environments. Telia is responsible for the infrastructure, operations, and monitoring, while you use the connection to interconnect nodes, transport traffic, or strengthen parts of your network where continuity and stability are essential.

The value of dedicated capacity
Telia Wholesale Capacity provides a point‑to‑point connection with stable characteristics between two fixed addresses or nodes. The dedicated bandwidth makes it possible to create transport paths, redundancy solutions, and internal network functions that are not affected by other traffic. Telia monitors the infrastructure and manages operations and fault handling, providing a secure foundation for your own network functions and solutions. You integrate the connection into your network where stability, operational reliability, and continuity are central to your business.
Technical prerequisites
Telia Wholesale Capacity is terminated towards an operator access (NNI) and uses trunked ports with double tagging or a transparent‑to‑operator (TO‑transparent) configuration for compatibility with your network equipment. The product follows the same geographic structure as Telia’s fiber infrastructure, providing a uniform technical model regardless of deployment area.
Telia Wholesale Capacity is delivered with customer‑located equipment and is based on three fixed bandwidth levels: 100 Mbps, 500 Mbps, and 1 Gbps. In the map tool, both the FUTO name and the associated node are displayed, simplifying the planning of connection points. The characteristics of the connection, including possible maximum distances in certain areas, are determined by the network’s fiber geography.
