Route map
A route map gives you an overview of how your fiber connection is planned to be deployed or how an existing connection is routed. The map can be ordered during an inquiry, at the time of order, or for an existing connection.
How the route map works
When you request a map for a planned or existing fiber connection, we provide a PDF map based on Telia Wholesale’s internal mapping tools. The map shows the overall routing of the connection. For network security reasons, exact locations of nodes, stations, cable entry points, tunnels, or transport networks are not displayed. In these cases, the map ends with an arrow before these points to indicate direction without revealing the exact location.In some areas, parts of the route may be shown in a more schematic format or described in text when detailed graphics cannot be displayed. The map still provides a clear and useful basis for planning, design, or quotation work, and gives you a solid understanding of how the fiber connection is intended to be routed in the specific environment.
